Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited/Ghana Revenue Authority

After preliminary investigation commenced on 19 December 2023 into the contractual arrangements between Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), purportedly aimed at enhancing revenue assurance in the downstream petroleum sector, upstream petroleum production, and the minerals and metals resources value chain, the Office has undertaken further action.

After conducting a thorough review of the audit report prepared by the accounting firm KPMG, dated 27 March 2024, which was commissioned by the President to evaluate the propriety of the procurement and contracting processes and the appropriateness of cost-value analyses in the performance of the contracts, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has initiated a full investigation.

This investigation focuses on suspected corruption and corruption-related offences concerning the contractual arrangements between Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited and the GRA.
