Tema Oil Refinery and Tema Energy and Processing Limited

Upon the initiation of an assessment concerning the risk of corruption linked to a proposed partnership agreement between Tema Oil Refinery and Tema Energy and Processing Limited, the Office has commenced a full investigation into suspected acts of corruption and related offences arising from the arrangements between Tema Oil Refinery and Tema Energy and Processing Limited, as well as the operation and management of Tema Oil Refinery.

Pending the conclusion of the investigation, the Special Prosecutor has ordered the suspension of the proposed partnership agreement, ongoing negotiations, operations, and all ancillary activities stemming from or connected to the proposed partnership agreement, until further notice.
