In celebration of the African Union's Anti-Corruption Day on 11 July, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) partnered with the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) to host regional sensitization sessions in senior high schools.

These educational sessions were held in Ghana's Eastern and Central Regions, specifically at Effiduase Methodist Junior High School in Koforidua and Cape Coast International High School in Cape Coast. The events drew participation from nearly 300 students.

The Youth Against Corruption (YAC) team from the OSP centered their presentations on the day's theme, “Effective Whistleblowers Protection Mechanism: A Critical Tool in the Fight Against Corruption.”

Students learned about the procedures for filing a corruption complaint with the OSP and the legal protections available to witnesses.

These initiatives aim to empower young people and raise awareness about the crucial role they play in combating corruption at all levels of society.
