Students of Academic City University College had a thrilling session with the Youth against Corruption (YAC) programme on 5 November 2024.

The OSP led students of Academic City to review corruption cases, discussing the elements of corruption and measures that help prevent corruption.

The students also discussed the effects of corruption on themselves and the society. When the youth are associated with corruption, it may limit their opportunities. The students mentioned the loss of resources, social inequity and a culture of impunity as major effects of corruption on society.

The YAC session ended with a discussion on the agency of Academic City University students to contribute to the fight against corruption by actively reporting corruption to the OSP, and staying engaged on YAC for further education and activism via the latter’s social media platforms.
