OSP Drives Anti-Corruption Message at Wesley Grammar School
16 June 2025
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), through its Youth Against Corruption (YAC) initiative, held a sensitisation programme at Wesley Grammar School on Thursday, 12 June 2025.
The event engaged more than 1,600 students in an interactive session aimed at promoting integrity and anti-corruption values among Ghana’s youth.
The engagement began with a lively discussion on the students’ understanding of the OSP’s role. While many students associated the office with “catching corrupt people,” facilitators clarified that the OSP’s mandate includes investigating and prosecuting corruption, recovering tainted assets, and undertaking corruption prevention through education and corruption risk assessments.
Students were reminded that habits formed early could shape future behaviour. They were urged to reject corrupt practices in all forms and to embrace values such as honesty, accountability, and service.
The OSP team emphasised that integrity is not only a national necessity but a personal responsibility, especially for the next generation of leaders who will one day be entrusted with public office and national resources.
The programme concluded with a call to action for students to become ambassadors of integrity within their schools, communities, and future professions
