Organised by STAR Ghana under the Kofkro project, the Summit brought together youth leaders from the New Juaben South Municipality to explore how young citizens can influence governance and development. YAC facilitated discussions on the theme “Building Youth Champions against Corruption,” using the platform to engage, educate, and inspire integrity among the participants.

During the interactive session, over 400 youth shared their frustrations about how corruption was robbing them of opportunities in education, employment, and public services. They challenged the OSP to remain steadfast in restoring hope and fairness in national systems.

The YAC team explained how the OSP’s interventions—investigating graft, recovering stolen assets, and strengthening transparency—are designed to safeguard the nation’s resources for the benefit of the younger generation.

Through this engagement, YAC reaffirmed that fighting corruption is not only about punishment but also about prevention through mindset change. The initiative urged participants to act as anti-corruption champions in their communities by upholding values of integrity, accountability, and transparency, and by reporting corrupt acts through the OSP’s public channels.

The event forms part of YAC’s nationwide drive to build a youth movement that envisions a Ghana where honesty, fairness, and public trust thrive.
