YAC OSP Engages Ebenezer SHS Students

Young Voices at Padua Take a Stand for Integrity

12 Feb. 2026

Students at Ebenezer SHS (Padua) proved that the future is not a distant dream, the future has found its voice and is ready to speak boldly against corruption.

The Youth Against Corruption (YAC) team stormed the campus, greeted by a sea of over 650 students whose energy could have powered the entire city. The atmosphere at the Dansoman-based school was electric as the SRC Week celebration launched, marked by a colourful display of students’ individuality. The beautifully varied casual outfits worn for the special occasion added vibrance to the event, while the cadet corps delivered an impressive parade to the delight of everyone present. This wasn’t just another school gathering; it was a movement.

The YAC team connected with the students, speaking heart-to-heart about a simple but powerful truth: Integrity doesn’t begin with a headline or a politician; it begins with us.

Laughter from light-hearted moments quickly transformed into focused resolve as discussions deepened around why standing against corruption is not merely a choice, but a responsibility. In a spontaneous and inspiring moment of unity, the YAC team and the students stood shoulder-to-shoulder to take the Integrity Pledge. This collective commitment strengthened a shared sense of purpose — to fight corruption in all its forms and help build a better Ghana for the next generation.
