YAC A section of participants at the session

The Youth Against Corruption (YAC) programme held an engaging session at St Thomas Aquinas School on 14 June 2024, involving over 400 final-year students. 

 

The students examined case studies to identify corrupt practices and debated their findings The session also delved into the role of the OSP. Whistleblowing procedures were also discussed.

 

During a lively Q&A, students expressed interest in the recruitment and integrity measures of accountability institutions like the OSP. One student asked if corruption proceeds invested in public projects need to be recovered by the OSP.

 

The YAC initiative aims to educate young people about corruption, preparing them to uphold integrity  and transparency.
