YAC GLISS Embraces YAC Initiative

In a lively session on 26 June 2024, students at the Ghana Lebanon Islamic School (GLISS)  welcomed the Youth Against Corruption (YAC) initiative.

The event saw hundreds of students actively engaging in the discussion. To help students better understand the concept of corruption, the session included relatable hypothetical scenarios that depicted everyday situations.

The YAC session also explored the mandate of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), detailing the types of corruption offences it investigates and prosecutes.

Engaged and inquisitive, the students posed thought-provoking questions about news of corruption among the country's leaders and the progress made by the OSP in court cases. Additionally, they expressed curiosity about the measures in place to ensure the integrity of OSP officers.

This initiative underscores the growing commitment among young Ghanaians to combat corruption and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
