The Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa (AAACoA)
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) is an active member of the Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa (AAACoA), a regional body established in 2011 to strengthen cooperation among Commonwealth countries in tackling corruption.
AAACoA provides a forum for member institutions to learn from one another through knowledge exchange, specialised training, joint research, and capacity development. It also supports governments in designing and implementing practical strategies that promote integrity and strengthen systems of governance.
Each year, the Association convenes a high-level conference where anti-corruption leaders and partners share experiences, develop solutions, and agree on measures to advance the fight against corruption across the continent. Outcomes from these meetings guide the work of member agencies, including the OSP, in their respective national contexts.
By participating in AAACoA, the OSP reinforces its commitment to international collaboration and contributes to the broader effort to build accountable and transparent governance in Africa.
