Mining Sector Anti-Corruption Outreach
29 June 2025
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) advanced its public education and anti-corruption efforts by participating in an Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Workshop organised by AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) on 24th June 2025 at Obuasi Secondary Technical School in the Ashanti Region.
The workshop, initiated by AngloGold Ashanti, aimed to sensitise stakeholders on Ghana’s national stance on bribery and corruption, and to share AGA’s internal anti-corruption policies and standards.
The event drew participation from AGA staff and contractors, traditional leaders, representatives from the Obuasi and Obuasi East Municipal Assemblies, and members of the media.
