The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) collaborates with national, regional, and international partners to investigate and prosecute corruption and corruption-related offences. Recognising that corruption frequently involves cross-border financial flows and actors, the OSP actively engages in law-enforcement cooperation to ensure effective investigation, prosecution, and asset recovery.
Cooperation Mandate
The OSP works with domestic and foreign law-enforcement agencies and international partners to:
- Facilitate information and intelligence exchange in corruption investigations;
- Support cross-border investigations and evidence gathering within applicable legal frameworks;
- Collaborate on asset tracing, freezing, confiscation, and recovery efforts;
- Share expertise and best practices in anti-corruption enforcement.
International Engagement
The OSP participates in bilateral and multilateral cooperation frameworks and supports implementation of international anti-corruption instruments, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), to strengthen collective responses to corruption.
Through these partnerships, the OSP contributes to global efforts to combat corruption and protect public resources.
